Salient features of double electrical layer formation on cadmium-nickel alloys

Abstract: 

The paper reports a comparative study of the structure of the double electrical layer on the cadmium electrode and those made of cadmium-nickel alloys (0.1 and 0.33 wt % of Ni). The change from pure cadmium to cadmium-nickel alloys is shown to shift the zero charge potential of the electrode towards anode potentials and to retard the process of specific adsorption of water molecules at positive charges of the electrode surface,
