Introduction effect of zirconium ions into the structure of a lithium germanate-vanadate solid electrolyte on its electrical properties
The influence of partial substitution of Zr4+ ions for Ge4+ ions at high conduction solid electrolyte Li3.75Ge0.75V0.25O4 was investigated. It was established that introduction of zirconium ions leads to noticable increasing of electrolyte conductivity and decreasing of activation energy. It is proposal that this effect connects with size factor influence: the introduction of larger (than Ge4 +) Zr4+ ions leads to expansion of average size of lithium cations migration channels in the electrolyte structure.
