Abstract: 

The problems of salvaging of exhausted lithium batteries with a polyfluorocarbon cathode and liquid electrolyte as a 1M solution of lithium tetrafluoroborate in gamma-butyrolactone (GBL) have been considered. The concept of neutralization and treatment of the articles of various standard sizes and types has been developed. The technology proposed allows to conduct salvaging in safe conditions resulted in commercial products obtained with meeting the environmental requirements.
