Abstract:

The lithium zirconates are promising materials for separators of high temperature electrochemical power sources. Regions of stability of solid solutions Li8ZrO6 – LiScO2 and stability fields in the system Li8ZrO6, – Li5AlO4 have been found. Transport properties of the lithium scandate and solid solutions in the systems Li8ZrO6, – LiScO2 and Li8ZrO6 – Li5AlO4 were investigated. Equilibrium concentrations of products of thermal decomposition and products of interaction with lithium metal were calculated for most conductive compositions.
